A fun morning with Kayla...


I had so much fun sharing the morning with Kayla. I have so many wonderful images but I especially liked this one.

The Photo Shoot that cost me $69.06.........

Photographing my OWN children has always been a challenge for me. You would think that they would just "give in," especially after all these years. I just wanted to share with you the result of 10 minutes on my front porch. I finally, like so many other Moms, have to resort to "bribery" to get my children to pose in front of the camera. My daughter is learning that professional models don't work for free--so why should she! I salute all Moms or Dads trying to capture a special moment of their children.

The final cost --$69.06 for 4 shirts from Hollisters, but I got a portrait that I will treasure for a long time (check out the gallery--little ones on my website).

FINALLY...... My new website is launched.

So much thanks to all my beautiful subjects that allowed me to use their portraits for my new site. I have enjoyed looking at each and everyone of you so much...it is an honor and privilege to have had you in front of my lens.

I would also like to thank my close photography friends - Mary Ann Elston and Kathryn Gaiennie - for all their insight, inspiration and cheering me on while putting this project together over the last few months. Thanks for my portrait, Kathryn. I can't go without mentioning my pal, Stacie Leng, she was always only a phone call away or running over to my house. Terri Noble and Chris Jay, kudos to both of you too.
